OcuTrap Subscription Policy

Overview
OcuTrap subscriptions provide device connectivity, cloud features, and ongoing updates. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms below.
Subscription Plans
- Monthly Plan. Billed each month on the purchase date.
- Annual Plan. Billed once per year at a discounted rate.
What your plan includes
- Cellular and cloud connectivity for your trap or traps
- Remote monitoring and control in the mobile and web apps
- Access to image uploads and device status data
- Ongoing software updates and security improvements
Billing and Payments
- Subscriptions are billed automatically to your selected payment method through Shopify checkout.
- You can update payment details in your OcuTrap account at any time.
- If a payment fails, you will be notified. Service may be suspended until payment is resolved.
Renewals
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled before the renewal date.
- You can review renewal dates and manage your plan in your account.
Cancellations
- You may cancel at any time from your account or by contacting support.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- No refunds are issued for partial months or unused portions of an annual term.
Pausing or Changing Plans
- You may upgrade, downgrade, or switch between monthly and annual plans.
- Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Device Connectivity and Service Levels
- An active subscription is required for cellular connectivity and cloud features.
- If your subscription expires or is canceled, the trap remains a manual trap. Connected features are disabled.
- Network availability can vary by location and carrier. Temporary service interruptions may occur.
Refunds
- Subscription fees are non refundable.
- Exceptions may be made for duplicate charges or billing errors after review.
Trials and Promotions
- Trial periods or promotional pricing, if offered, are subject to the terms shown at signup.
- At the end of a trial, standard plan rates apply unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Taxes and Fees
- Applicable taxes are added at checkout based on your billing address.
- Carrier or data fees outside the subscription are not included unless stated.
Account Responsibilities
- Keep your account information accurate and your password secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Policy Changes
- We may update this policy to reflect operational or legal requirements.
- Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date.
