OcuTrap R1 Hardware Warranty

1. Warranty Coverage

OcuTrap, Inc. (“Company”) warrants that the "OcuTrap R1" hardware will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions for 12 months from the original purchase date by the end user (“Warranty Period”).

2. Warranty Conditions

During the Warranty Period, the Company will, at its discretion, repair or replace any defective components or products covered by this warranty. Replacement parts or products may be new or refurbished and will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or 90 days from the date of repair or replacement, whichever is longer.

3. Limitations and Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Improper Installation – Damage caused by incorrect installation not in accordance with the Company's guidelines.
  • Misuse or Neglect – Issues arising from misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or failure to follow operating instructions.
  • Unauthorized Modifications – Defects caused by modifications, adjustments, or repairs made by anyone other than OcuTrap, Inc.
  • Environmental Factors – Damage from power failures, power surges, extreme weather, or other environmental conditions beyond the Company’s control.
  • Normal Wear and Tear – Cosmetic damage or wear that does not affect product functionality.
  • Third-Party Components – Damage caused by the use of unauthorized parts, accessories, or add-ons not approved by OcuTrap, Inc.

4. Warranty Claims Process

To make a claim under this warranty:

  • Contact OcuTrap Support at support@ocutrap.com and provide:
    • Proof of purchase.
    • A detailed description of the issue, including relevant photos.
  • If required, ship the defective product to an authorized repair facility or return address, using a shipping label provided by OcuTrap, Inc.

5. Liability Limitation

OcuTrap, Inc.’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product or parts. The Company is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits or business.
  • Business interruption.
  • Damage to other property due to the use or inability to use the OcuTrap R1.

6. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Texas courts.

7. Warranty Modifications

OcuTrap, Inc. reserves the right to modify this warranty at any time. Changes will apply only to products purchased after the modification date and will not be retroactive.
